Full schedule

Dates and Torah and Haftarah ranges are calculated with Hebcal (diaspora schedule, Hebrew verse numbering, which the YLV Old Testament follows). The Apostolic Writings pairings are chosen by Bible Homes Inc. Scripture: Yeshua Literal Version (YLV).

What is a Torah portion?

The five books of Moses are divided into fifty-four portions, read in order from one autumn to the next. Each portion is named after its first distinctive Hebrew word. The custom is old: James said at Jerusalem, For Moses from ancient generations has in every city those who proclaim him, since he is read in the synagogues every sabbaton. (Acts 15:21). Yeshua himself entered the synagogue on the day of the sabbatons according to His custom, and stood up to read (Luke 4:16), and was handed the scroll of the prophet Isaiah.

Read it together

Read the portion aloud at home with family or friends during the week, and come back to the original words when a question arises.
