Bible Homes Inc.

A nonprofit organization that translates the Bible itself, gives it away at no charge, and serves so that a place for the Word may stand in every household.

Bible Homes Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in the United States, and its ministry name is Bible Homes Global Media Ministries. The Bible we publish is called the Yeshua Literal Version — YLV for short.

There is no individual to put forward here. Everything done in this place is done in the name of the organization and answered for in the name of the organization — the translation, the original-language analysis, the apps, the ebooks, and the audiobooks alike.

We stand on one conviction

Everything we do reduces to a single sentence: the Word of God gives a person life. This is not a slogan we invented; it is what one man wrote down after he had already been through it, in the middle of affliction.

So our work is simple: to clear away whatever stands between a person and the Word. If the price is in the way, we remove the price; if the language is in the way, we translate again; if the device is in the way, we make an app; if the source text is in the way, we open the original languages.

We do not study the Bible and then disperse

Our work does not end with giving the Bible away. Turning gatherings that learn and scatter into gatherings that actually practise the love the Word commands — that is why this organization exists.

Love is not something Scripture recommends. It is something Scripture commands.

And He fixed it plainly that this love does not stop at words.

Paul wrote it down very concretely. Not a word aimed at a crowd, but one person holding up one person.

A heavy load is not carried alone; it is carried by one another. And so no one is left alone. That is why a table is set.

This is why a YLV Bible Study is not a gathering that only reads. At the same table we read, and at the same table we ask how one another is doing. Reading and love do not go separately; they go together. The first church did it that way.

They gathered in the temple, and they gathered from house to house. The worship of the church comes first, and this table does not take its place. It is opened for those for whom that is out of reach, and it need not be a Friday.

What we have made

• The Yeshua Literal Version, both Testaments complete — in English and in Korean. Translated directly from the Hebrew and the Greek.
• Original-language analysis — the whole Hebrew Old Testament and Greek New Testament, word by word. Morphology · Strong's numbers · word meanings · occurrence concordance. Work normally possible only inside expensive Bible-study software.
• Apps — Android and Windows. No in-app purchases.
• Ebooks and audiobooks — in the stores at no charge. The audiobooks are currently in English only.
• Bible studies and proclamation — writing for those who want to read the text more deeply, and Scripture gathered by theme.
• YLV Bible Study — guidance for households setting a table and reading aloud together.

How we work

• The translation is literal. We do not smooth over the words of the source text at will. The reason is set out in Why literal.
• We name our sources. The Hebrew text, the Greek text, and Strong's numbering are disclosed as they are on Text Sources & Copyright.
• We use no copyrighted translation. Every rendering is the original work of this organization.
• We take no payment. The reason is on Why it is free.

We are not trying to replace the church

We are not a denomination and we do not plant churches. We always urge believers first to keep their place in the worship of their own church. What we do is to set the Word between that worship and that believer's life. The order is stated plainly on YLV Bible Study.
