Psalms 113

1Hallelujah! Praise, you servants of YHWH, praise the name of YHWH.

2Let the name of YHWH be blessed, from now and forever.

3From the rising of the sun to its going down, the name of YHWH is praised.

4High above all nations is YHWH; above the heavens is his glory.

5Who is like YHWH our God, who is enthroned on high,

6who looks far down upon the heavens and the earth?

7Who raises the poor from the dust (aphar), from the dunghill he lifts the needy,

8to seat him with nobles, with the nobles of his people.

9Who seats the barren woman in the house, a joyful mother of sons. Hallelujah!
