Psalms 112

1Hallelujah! Blessed is the man (ish) who fears YHWH, who delights greatly in his commandments (mitzvot).

2His seed will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.

3Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness stands forever.

4Light shines in the darkness for the upright; gracious and compassionate and righteous.

5Good is the man (ish) who is gracious and lends; he conducts his affairs with judgment (mishpat).

6For he will never be moved; the righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.

7He will not fear an evil report; his heart is steadfast, trusting in YHWH.

8His heart is upheld, he will not fear, until he looks upon his foes.

9He has scattered, he has given to the needy; his righteousness stands forever; his horn will be exalted in honor.

10The wicked will see and be vexed; he will gnash his teeth and melt away; the desire of the wicked will perish.
