Psalms 96

1Sing to YHWH a new song; sing to YHWH, all the earth.

2Sing to YHWH, bless his name; proclaim from day to day his salvation (yeshuah).

3Declare among the nations his glory, among all the peoples his marvelous works.

4For great is YHWH, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.

5For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but YHWH made the heavens.

6Honor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

7Ascribe to YHWH, O families of the peoples, ascribe to YHWH glory and strength.

8Ascribe to YHWH the glory of his name; lift up an offering and come into his courts.

9Bow down to YHWH in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.

10Say among the nations: "YHWH reigns." Also the world is established, it shall not be moved; he shall judge the peoples with equity.

11Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and its fullness.

12Let the field exult, and all that is in it; then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy,

13before YHWH, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth; he shall judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness.
