Psalms 121

1A Song for the Ascents. I lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come?

2My help is from with YHWH, Maker of heaven and earth.

3He will not give your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.

4Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

5YHWH is your keeper; YHWH is your shade upon your right hand.

6By day the sun shall not smite you, nor the moon by night.

7YHWH shall keep you from all evil; He shall keep your soul (nephesh).

8YHWH shall keep your going out and your coming in, from now and to forever.
