Psalms 87

1Of the sons of Korah, a psalm, a song: His foundation is in the mountains of holiness.

2YHWH loves the gates of Zion more than all the tabernacles (mishkan) of Jacob.

3Glorious things are spoken in you, O city of God. Selah.

4I will mention Rahab and Babylon to those who know me; behold, Philistia and Tyre with Cush: "This one was born there."

5And of Zion it shall be said, "Man (ish) and man (ish) was born in her"; and he himself, the Most High (Elyon), shall establish her.

6YHWH shall count in the writing of the peoples: "This one was born there." Selah.

7And singers as well as dancers: "All my springs are in you."
