Psalms 70

1To the leader. Of David. To bring to remembrance.

2O God, to deliver me; O YHWH, to my help, make haste!

3Let them be ashamed and abashed, those who seek my soul (nephesh); let them be turned backward and confounded, those who delight in my harm.

4Let them turn back because of their shame, those who say, "Aha, aha!"

5Let all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; and let those who love your salvation (yeshuah) say continually, "Let God be magnified!"

6But I am poor and needy; O God, make haste to me. My help and my deliverer you are; O YHWH, do not delay.
