Psalms 1

1Blessed is the man (ish) who has not walked in the counsel of the wicked, and in the way of sinners has not stood, and in the seat of scorners has not sat.

2But his delight is in the Torah of YHWH, and in his Torah he meditates day and night.

3And he shall be like a tree planted by streams of water, which gives its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither; and all that he does, he makes prosper.

4Not so the wicked; but they are like the chaff which the wind (ruach) drives away.

5Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment (mishpat), nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6For YHWH knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.
