Hosea 3

1And YHWH said to me: "Go yet again, love a woman (ishah) beloved of a friend and an adulteress, like the love of YHWH for the sons of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love cakes of raisins."

2And I bought her for myself for fifteen pieces of silver, and a homer of barley and a lethech of barley.

3And I said to her: "Many days you shall remain for me; you shall not play the harlot, and you shall not be to a man (ish); and also I will be toward you."

4For many days the sons of Israel shall remain without king and without prince, and without sacrifice and without pillar, and without ephod and teraphim.

5Afterward the sons of Israel shall return and seek YHWH their God and David their king, and they shall come trembling to YHWH and to his goodness in the latter days.
