Esther 10

1And the king Ahasuerus laid a tribute on the land and the isles of the sea.

2And all the work of his power and his might, and the full account of the greatness of Mordecai, with which the king made him great, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Media and Persia?

3For Mordecai the Jew was second to the king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and favored by the multitude of his brothers; seeking good for his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.
